Major: Political Science (This Major's Salary over time)
AMU is a waste of time. The course work provided little in the realm of education, and I lost 21 hours when transferring to a regionally acredited university. The courses were not the least bit challenging. This so called school takes advantage of active duty military, especially junior enlisted. I enrolled in AMU because I was a LCpl in the Marine Corps with a family, and had little disposable income. AMU included books in its tuition, which allowed me to go for free because of TA. I didn't understand the difference between regional and other forms of acreditation (My fault). I have now completed my degree with a reputable university, and I hope that no other Marines, or other service members waste their time with this school.
