WNEC is a small private college with a number of opportutnities to excel . I'm majoring in engineering and the program here is really good so far. I've spend a whole semester here and i feel like this place is pretty good. The faculty are really friendly and want to see you excel in your chosen field of study, now of course there are 1 or 2 exceptions. Academically this school is pretty good but interms of social life it does not ranked that high. Since its a pretty small school, there are'nt a lot of stuff to do when it comes to the week-ends, other than ther regular parties with the same old friends of yours. Its a college where you don't really meet a lot of diverse people. But being an engineer, you don't always have a great deal of time for social life, so this college is not that bad for me. There is nothing much to do in the springfield area, so you are mostly stuck on campus.ovarall the school is good if you have a good group of friends and are not really interested in a hugh social life and value your education over the social life.. this is your school.
