If you're looking for the true college experience, Suffolk is not the place to go. I came to Suffolk thinking I was in the city and there were tons of places to go and things to do. Boy was I wrong. You can't get in anywhere without a fake ID and if you don't have one you get pretty sick and tired of walking around the same area. The sports here are horrible and you have to hop the T in order to go to a game.

The buildings themselves are pretty nice. Despite the fact that one of the residents halls just recently failed 2 health inspections and had 9 violations to the extreme. You're not guaranteed housing sophmore year which stinks because you either have to commute or find your own apartment somewhere, so it's always a hike to school.

There are very very limited extracurricular activities here. It's extremely difficult to meet people (at least if you live in Miller Hall). I've had 2 different advisors and they are some of the rudest people I've ever met. They make you feel so stupid and if you ask a question they jump down your throat and expect you to know the answer.

Overall, school is in a nice area but as I said earlier, if you're looking for the real college experience, don't come to Suffolk.
