The Professor in my department are great. I would say most of the students in my major have mostly good things to say about the department. The teachers are helpful, fun and friendly. Some of the teachers out side of my department tend to give more busy work, not be as helpful, or friendly, but overall i have do not really have a problem with them.

The dorms are not so good. i live in a very nasty place Allen Hall. These dorms are very nasty, including mold, ants and all kinds of other bugs. the big clubs basically do their best to wreck the place, including poop bombs, fire works, and just basically trash the halls. I think they do this because the University does so little for the dorm. The bathrooms are rarely cleaned. and maintenance many times doesn't do it's job. Some kids in my hall had a broken sink and didn't get it fixed for months. I think it is still broken. On the Girl side it is not much better, in one of the freshman dorms there is such a mold problem that girls were getting fixed. They have done nothing to fix this, because they do not have the money, but the president has enough money to build himself a very nice new office.

Socially it is a terrible place to be. If you are not in one of the big clubs, then about eighty percent of the students will not talk to you. in general I really am not sure how to make friends here, or even if it is possible. The student body isn't really that nice to anyone. The are very ready to judge you, on my first day I went into the student center and I just saw tons of students all looking at me, looking like they didn't even want me here. I have not felt any different sense. I have been involved in many events. Each time the students in these events wanted nothing to with me more than have had to. most people in the big clubs seem to not want to mingle with anyone who would be less popular.

In short I hate the student body at this university. But i love the Social Work program! They have given me many tools I need to succeed in my career. How ever the students here are well, even though it is a "Christian" school, don't expect any love here!!!

Your wrong about your assesment that 80% of students are in clubs, when in reality less than 60% of students are entering clubs and each year less people join. As far as the student body is concerned I have found them to be more than friendly and engaging. I came here knowing not a soul and have found friends and friendships that I am sure will last a lifetime.

Well good for you! I have found them to be very cliquey and i have done a lot on campus and have been very active in many groups on campus. All i can stay for these students is they are selfish, and elitist.

Your falacious grades of the campus, faculty and students show that, you are frostrated with your study and experience at Harding. I really had another experience socially with the students. While not included in every outing, social or party … was wanted and invited too much and learned great things to want for myself and that those bringing me had going for themselves. I salute your desire to have some face and help the next generation of graduates, your grading was non factual. Goodbye.

I see your review was written some timer ago. The University has made internet and construction additions to accomodate students in m every possible way. Handicap entrances and exits. Spaciousn internet and wifi use to help students with attendance problems.the argument witjh graduates and students like you is you loved the location and spit up on the place as yuor exited. give some propsssss to the faculty, what bad affect has Harding had on Arkansas socially? The city offers plenty for students to attend and benefit from in off time. and the school is listed as a Church of Christ university and just mystified by how the place is bad socially.
