Major: Biology (This Major's Salary over time)
I must say that Texas Woman's University has changed much over the past four years since I have been here in a great way! We are getting a huge new science building built on the denton campus and a multi million dollar TWU Institute of Health Science Center. This school is known for Nursing, PT, and OT as well as turing out great doctors I am sure. I am a biology major and the courses vary in difficulty more upon what the teacher is wanting out of you than the material itself. There seems to be more teachers in the biology department pushing you with all kinds of crap that is due on a weekly to bi-weekly basis besides lecture tests. If you are looking for an easy college than don't go here. If you want to be challenged then come here! I can't say much about other non-science departments at TWU but the science departments rock. I guarantee you that because of TWU's inability to physically expand as opposed to it's neighbouring university expanding like crazy that it will only get harder and harder to get accepted into TWU which makes your degree stand out even more. Don't let the GPA, SATs, and ACT's entrance scores fool you because most places or books aren't up to date and they increase in higher competitive scores almost on a yearly base.
