Mason is a young university in comparison to the Virginia giants, like UVA and William and Mary, but it already has attracted the best and brightest professors in their disciplines. Undergraduates are not handed over to TAs. You'll get a "real" professor teaching you, and you'll get a great education at an affordable price—if you're an in-state student.
