UMass was a terrible college. I transferred to UConn for my junior year and I like it so much more. To get from one class to another expect to be walking a good 25 minutes, then add on another 5 or 10 minutes when its freezing and icy (which is the majority of the time you will spend here). Also, if you do end up going here, never walk alone. It seems like each weekend I heard a frightening story from one of my friends. Next, the parties are okay if you're into the whole

hey, lets go to a frat house and get drunk to the point where we black out or throw up every single night so then people will like me and i'll make 'friends!'

If i were you, I wouldn't even bother applying. It's just a waste of 60 bucks…
