This "University" is the biggest joke ever. If your a moron who wants to get shit-faced every night, not be challenged in class, and graduate easily, then YES this is the perfect school for you. The Orientation Leaders did a great job of painting this school marvelously. Let's start by talking about the location and the school itself. The school is located in pricey and uptight neighborhood of Beacon Hill. Therefore, can't complain it had a great location but the school seriously had buildings spread all over the damn neighborhood. This school has no real "campus", to go from one class to the other was a pain in the ass since the buildings were scrambled all over the place. Imagine how torturous it was commuting from class to class during the winter. Second the School has no place for students to hang out. The only place I can think of was the Library, which by the way was nice. However, if you didn't live in a dorm, the library was your only place to hang out in between classes, or with friends. Now this leads me to my second point, if your a commuter student your first or second year, your absolutely excluded from the almost nonexistent social life at Suffolk. If you don't live at the dorms you can't go to their various cafeterias and eat because you need a special barcode on your ID in order to get into one of the dorm buildings. So if your commuter try to find a friend that resides in a dorm. My next point is about the people that attend Suffolk. So like I said at Orientation they painted this wonderful picture of unity and friendliness amongst people. Bullshit. The school is divided into cliques like High School. People are distant, non-approachable, unfriendly and sheltered. Most of the students in my freshman class where either people who came from the same city or town outside of boston or in NE and knew each other, therefore didn't need to make friends with others. The other kind of people where those who were international or out-of state and usually where filthy rich and only hung out with those in their same economic class. By the way the international students I met during my first year were the snobbiest, most arrogant, egotistical people I have ever met. They literally looked down on everyone who wasn't on their level of income not intelligence by the way. Since most of the students that went there knew each other or lived in neighboring towns or cities, they were automatically united and didn't bother talking to someone like me.

Next point, this school admits any idiot as long as they are profiting from it. In most of my classes I was in awe to see how many morons there were in my class, and couldn't believe these people were admitted to a University. Their conversations lacked content and depth and usually were about unimportant things such as shopping, entertainment, and other stupid shit. I couldn't believe people could be so superficial, unoriginal, and empty until I went to Suffolk. Most of the guys carried this "hot-shot" mentality and thought they were untouchable. Most of the girls were catty, dumb, and valued thing such as getting extremely wasted, and who they wanted hook up with. Now I'm not the kind of person who judges everyone and considers herself perfect, and neither am I social pariah. However, I felt like one at Suffolk.

Professors at Suffolk were ok. However, I will never forget my Journalism professor who told me "when I graduate I won't get a job, I will have to settle with a minimum wage job, and only he was lucky to find a job after college". This professor was very self-absorbed and lectured about himself and his experiences. Thankfully I left Suffolk and do not regret once my decision. Hopefully this review is helpful for someone who is looking for more culturedness in my college experience and less ignorance.

I’m in the Boston area looking for a school with a good film program, and Suffolk is one of my only options, but I’m starting to realize it may not be worth it. Where did you transfer to and could you recommend anything for me?
commentAre you serious? It is not possible that you don’t get good education from it. I have graduated from that university and I am doing a job in a company with good salary and legit assignment writing service to find out quality work. I think you are not talking about my department at least.
