I am currently in my first semester here and wow what a mistake.  I got accepted to UC Berkeley and chose not to go there because it was huge and SC has very good Film and Communications (Annenberg) Schools which is what I'm studying.  It was a really tough decision and from the moment I got here I knew I fucked myself over.  I should have gone to Berkeley where people are friendly, accepting, intelligent, and not all rich jocks and sorority hoes or nerdy international engineering students.  If you do not fit the stereotype, don't come here.  its not worth it.  don't come here for academics or an open social scene.  I hate it here, and want to transfer so bad.  and by the way, I'm an average, social, intelligent, athletic girl from Long Beach/ Orange County, CA.  The people here and filthy LA suck!
