Major: Biology (This Major's Salary over time)
it takes a pretty good amount to phase me and I am highly tolerant, even happy to spend time on my own. I have a solid amount of friends at RIT, I always know of parties though not necessarily huge ones and not entirely RIT hosted ones, but I can tell you for a fact, there is a much vaster majoity of students that hate attending this school in contrast with other schools, I can't tell you how often I wonder what it would be like to go to a school people do like—everyone else i know loves their college, and almost everyone here hates it.

Rochester is a bit of a dreary town that people tend to dislike as well, but there is some cool stuff to explore, a couple clubs and whatnot—it is kind of broken down and bluntly, ghetto, near and in the city, though, and with alledgedly as much crime and more murders in our tiny population than in NYC.

As for my major? the bio + bio lab teachers ive had were enjoyable in lecture, i thought, and passionate, which I really liked - but test-wise—who knew where those questions came from?! grading thus seemed unfair, though i did moderately well.

in regards to the professors for all of the other sciences and even math at RIT , and I'm pretty sure other bio courses I havent taken yet, are horrific. creative writing teachers were horrible as well, yes i know, it is a tech school, but there are language/journalism/writing majors here too. I'd say about 10% or so of your teachers will be senile, %60 will have really thick accents or not speak fluent english, and 85% will just be horrible teachers in some unique wsy you didnt have the imagination to consider beforehand.

I have had several majors and the teachers in them weren't especially great either. I had a truly horrible american politics prof., business professors were usually full of S, and art teachers were often immature—you had to be teacher's pet.

I don't really recommend this school; overall, most of your friends will leave you during/after the first year (more than half the class does) and you will find yourself feeling stuck here. a small proportion of students do like the school.
