I don't mean to be negative, but FAU was not very academically challenging and professors did not conduct very engaging lectures/courses. I honestly don't think I learned much while I was there which was partially why I left. I guess it's exciting they're building a stadium, but I would personally like to get more out of college than tailgating and bar hopping. Yes, of course thats fun but theres definitely more to life, and unfortunately, most of us are thrown out into the real world when college is over.

I suppose that for the student that only aspires to earn a BA, teach, or get an ocean engineering degree from FAU (A program I hear is excellent), this place may be all right; however, if you have higher expectations and goals, I highly suggest you Find Another University. Don't sell yourself short, keep looking!!
