Major: Math (This Major's Salary over time)
Oakland has an extremely beautiful safe campus I would say. The Rec Center is top notch, a lot of students use this at night and its for free, definitely a huge bonus. The Oakland Center is a great place too during the school day to study, eat, and hang out. It's usually pretty packed. Students drink a lot on the weekends, heck even on the weekdays too. Basketball games are a blast. The dining center is pretty good, but the hours are kind of dumb. Theres a lot of resources to use. There's a lot too do in Rochester, maybe not as much as other college towns, but it's not too bad. A lot of the students are from nearby so you see OU students everywhere. On the academic side it's pretty tough. It doesn't take a genius to get into OU but it takes a genius to earn a 4.0. You literally need a 97% in any class. But, the education is great. The math program specifically is extremely difficult, and I'm definitely switching my major. Overall a 3.2 at OU could be a 3.8 at other schools, but I guess it makes it more challenging and makes you push yourself harder for the higher grade.
