Major: Criminal (This Major's Salary over time)
Plymouth State University is a school that has come a long way from what it used to be. The staff is knowledgeable, but there are a few teachers that don't really know what they are talking about. This, you can find at any University. There are always going to be good and bad teachers. I am a freshman enrolled in the Criminal Justice Program, and have had a total of ten teachers, and only one of the ten would be considered unsatisfactory. The criminal justice program has been awesome so far, and I do feel that I have learned quite a bit from my classes. As for the campus, they have a bunch of programs and activities to do. You just have to look for them, and that shouldn't be hard for a college student to do. As for the people who told you to come here for the skiing/snowboarding, the "hot" chicks, and awesome parties: they lose all accreditation of their reviews. Yes, the town lacks exciting things to do and I do feel that it should add other editions besides a bar because it can get a little boring. Plymouth is overall a good school, and if you choose to go here then make the best out of it. If you really don't like it, then just transfer. If you look past all the ignorant and stupid students you will see that there are highly intelligent people here, trying to get an education. Most of the students that get in don't even last a semester because they were not truly committed or serious about getting an education. Which then leaves all the other students who care and strive to do well and succeed. If you are looking at Plymouth, don't disregard it from all the uneducated and misinformed information from the other comments. If you are serious about getting an education then it doesn't really matter where you go, as long as you make the best of it.
