I feel like I have received a world-class education here at UB. It may not be a big name, but I came here for one major reason: value. I dare anyone to find a better educational value than UB. UB is what you make of it, just like anywhere else. The opportunities are there, you just have to make the most of them. Talk to your teachers, they are generally very approachable. Also, be as active in the UB social scene as possible. Join clubs, play intramurals, have a good time. If you come in with the right attitude, you will love UB and be successful here, just as I have. It was an excellent undergrad school that has prepared me well for graduate study at big name universities.
