I was a non-traditional graduate at UALR, and earned a Master of Arts there. It was the most positive educational experiences of my life. The faculty in the journalism and radio-television-film areas were nothing short of incredible. The graduate program in journalism (mass communication) is a small one, but it is top quality. As a result of my experience there, I began a university teaching career and entered Ph.D. studies. The education I received served me well in obtaining a terminal degree. I cannot say enough good things about the university, the department and the faculty I was fortunate to be associated with in the master's program.
