I have almost nothing positive to say about this school as I am close to my graduation. I have never been safe at this school. Remember, that this campus is located in East LA and is open to everyone. I've had guys try to pick fights with me in between classes, while studying in the library, while parking, etc. It's really terrible. It even rubs off on the girls, and they try to act belligerent as well. Not being on campus is the best choice I've made about the school. I don't even study in the school library- I go to coffee shops. If you do choose to go to this school, expect lots of attention-seeking coughing, spitting, throat-clearing, snorting, etc. during class. This is how people communicate with each other. Wow. And the employees at the school are just as terrible. I have to tone down any optimism or intelligence to speak to them, because if you were to appear happy, you will pay for it. This is one of the worst things about the school- all school employees are extremely passive-aggressive. If you were to blank you face and leave your mouth open, you would fit right in, and get your papers processed faster. Also, for some reason, there is a great deal of middle-aged old men on campus (perverts?) or driving around the parking lots. One time, an old guy followed me into the bathroom before I quickly left. Pretty ugly stuff. Also, there has been budget cuts, but for some reason, the school decided to build a new gym, gaming arcade, and pool hall. All while classes are cut, library hours are cut, etc. Way to go CSULA. I don't think there should be schools like this that reward these students. Because they become the people in the real world who you hate. They learn to dress like normal people to hide their flaws but are the same weird, obnoxious people who you try to avoid in life.

responseI have a question for you, where do you come from? Princess land? Wow you have exaggerated so much on your review, it's ridicolous. It seems to me that you came into the campus with a bios perception. The fact that you stated that the campus is near East Los Angeles already tells me a bit of your mentality. To clarify and to snob things up for you, the campus is also located next to Pasadena and Alhambra. I've been a undergrad, credential and graduate student at this school and have never ever experienced any type of harassment. You should have looked into Princess University dear!
responseI wholehearted agree. I just completed my undergraduate studies in Finance (no easy task), and although I did run into one nasty professor (as described by the negative comment), overall, the rest were excellent, helpful, and approachable. I too have to agree that you have a problem with other races or maybe fear what you do not understand.

responseI agree with this review. Everyone thinks that CSULA is a boring school with an education that is no better than an inner city high school's. CSULA even looks like an inner city high school. Every single staff at CSULA from business to the registrar is extremely unprofessional and don't know what they're doing.
