Academics:

The classes here are NOT hard! People who say that simply don't work. I live in a suite of 8 guys, most of whom are as, or more intelligent than I am, who play video games all day, don't do homework, and pull straight C's. I've never had a problem getting 95%+ in any class because I simply do WORK. It's not hard, it's not stressful, just get the job done. There are MANY students here who's elitist parents sent them to an expensive college, so they spulge over their expensive TV's playing COD while they should be in physics lab.

The only issue I've had is with the Physics dept. The professors are arrogant pricks who refuse to admit that their program or gasp they themselves may have made a mistake in grading. But besides physics and epics, the teachers have been very helpful and accommodating.

The only other complaint I have is that the classes could be much more difficult.

Social life:

Without exception all the girls have disappointed me. Even the quiet shy girls I thought would be nice have been infected with RIBS (ratio induced bitch syndrome) Seriously - if you come here just don't even try to give dating a chance, just focus on getting your degree.

I've made some friends. Almost all people are pretty materialistic, it's just something to adapt to. There are a ton of douchers who think they're God's gift to the world, along with some seriously talented and people.

Advice:

Go to red rocks community college and transfer in after two years. It's right down the street you'll save so much money, I wish I had. Why? Better people (more girls), cheaper tuition, even easier classes, guaranteed transfer.

And when you do come here - take your education for what it is. Don't lie to yourself and try to meet girls, or attempt to have the typical American college experience, you'll just get disappointed (unless you're like 80% of the people here who are missing the emotion gene). Just focus on your education and get out with the degree you need as quick as you can. The degree is good, take a look at the career reports and see. Just know what you're getting yourself into.
