I think it's funny that people come on here and trash this university. I personally love URI because it has everything you need at school. people have this ridiculous perception of college life from tv and movies. ANY COLLEGE EXPERIENCE IS WHAT YOU MAKE OF IT. i had made amazing friends, the social life is awesome you just have to make an effort around here. my freshman dorm was amazing. i've been really involved and love the major i'm in. It's not close to a lot of city action, but that's why the campus is awesome because you feel so involved in the school. if you sit in your dorm every weekend and play video games of course you arent going to like it. people always have negative things to say about legit every school. college is what you make of it.
