I was surprised by how much I loved Temple University. I came from a small suburban town and I always wanted to move into a city. The campus is really well-lit at night, but the surrounding areas are the ghetto. You should be safe though if you're with a group of people.

And you should know now that Temple is a massive school, so you shouldn't expect your professors and the guidance department to hold your hand the whole time. Temple is orientated to more independent students.
