I just finished my first year at Northeastern. It was a great experience, and I am so glad I decided to attend this school. I had great difficulty choosing between schools narrowing it down to 3 very different schools. After a year here, though, I can't imagine myself anywhere else. I absolutely love the city of Boston, there's always so much to do. The more negative aspects include the administration. There is an excessive amount of red tape at this school, and it take numerous e-mails and calls to talk/get to who you want. Also, because it is a city, the social scene is different from other schools. You always need to get addresses to go to instead of just hoping to walk onto some party. After you get the swing of things, though, it becomes more enjoyable because there are so many surrounding schools and places to go on the weekends. Other than that, the dorms are relatively nicer than other schools i've seen and the people, in most part, are all very friendly.
