I attended the Art Institute of Boston for my freshman year (2007-2008) and leaving there has been one of the best decisions of my life.

The dorms were a mix of Lesley University students and competitive art kids. Drug dealers lived in each dorm, so if you were on the fast track to rehab, you wouldn't have to travel far. The hallways reek of weed, trauma, and vomit. Desks are lined with coke.

The chairperson of the photo department preys on young girls, especially blondes. He is not afraid to show favorites and create an unhealthy atmosphere of competition and fear.

There's a pretty extreme gender ratio, rape is common on this campus regardless.

If you call the counseling center stating that you are "having panic attacks and feeling suicidal," expect to be put on a waiting list.
