I loved my 2 years at UTA. I transfered in from an out of state university. I felt like I went to college with adults trying to make things happen, not drunken frat boys and sorority girls. People may seem unapproachable, but this is false. People, for the most part, are very friendly on campus. I've never understood why the ratings on this site are so low. This university treats the students as adults. You can't expect the advisors the spoon feed everything to you. The campus is always well maintained. There are so many resources available to the students. I loved my experiences there. I was a commuter, like the better of the student population. I'm sure that the on campus experience is even better. I'm proud to be an alumnus of this university! If you want your college experience to be something out of a teen movie from the late 90's or early 2000's, this university is not for you. But if you have a plan and committed to following through with it, UTA is for you.
