Major: Animal Studies (This Major's Salary over time)
I am from another southern state, and chose Clemson for a few reasons. Everyone I'd spoken with in my major was very friendly and helpful; animal and veterinary sciences is a relatively small program, and you can easily get one-on-one time with advisers and professors. The size is great - it's small enough that between classes, you can see at least one person you know, and large enough that you don't know everything about everyone. The campus is a convenient size, as well. It doesn't take more than 15 minutes to get from one building to another.

The football games are pretty amazing. Students are guaranteed a ticket to every home game, whether you sign up for block seating with an organization, or get tickets on your class's day. School spirit is seen all over campus on Solid Orange Fridays, and on gamedays. Tiger fans have been called some of the friendliest that rival school's fans have ever met.

I'm not involved in Greek life, but I have no lack of social life. Sororities and frats are definitely not a necessary thing to be a part of. Downtown Clemson is what you make of it; if you go down there thinking it'll be awful and boring, it will be. But I've personally never had a bad time after hanging out for a little while.

I have no regrets about coming to Clemson. I did get an in-state tuition scholarship, so that really helped with the prices. But I've made lifelong friends, been challenged in many ways which have helped me become a better person, and will graduate with honors and a lot more knowledge than I had when I got here.

Go tigers!
