Pace was a really positive experience for me. It's pretty cheap for a Manhattan school and as an international student, I felt at home pretty quickly. They have an amazing ELI program for students who need to level up their English skills before entering the undergraduate program. This ELI program had very understanding and nice teachers, always there to help a NYC newbie. The English department at Pace is not big but some teachers are actually amazing. I had 3 or 4 teachers that I will remember forever both for their knowledge and for their innovative spirit in the classroom. I dreaded the middle English class and it was one of my most memorable moments throughout my school years. Anyways, of course Pace has its problems (super slow and rude administration, small dorms, expensive tuition…) but it still has been a great experience for me and the location downtown is very cool :D
