Should have picked up that the "ZooMass" moniker was an indication that this institution is a poor value for even a state school. Long lines, gargantuan classes, inadequate facilities. You are treated like a number and the state grossly underfunds the school. I wish I had gone out of state.

Does UMass pay their shill by the post or by the hour? A fabulous education at an affordable price? If you have to take out loans for a public university, it isn't affordable. Being able to save and work your way through college in order to pay for tuition is affordable. As to your fabulous education, you wouldn't know a good education if it bit you on the ass…
