Also Umass only has a 60% or so acceptance rate because it is a huge school of over 25,000. All huge schools have a high acceptance rate dip shit. For example, Boston University is considered a good school and it has a 60% acceptance because it is huge. UVM also considered a good school accepted 70%. Most of u dip shits commenting on this could get in either of those schools. |

Major: Education (This Major's Salary over time)
Look, analyzing UMass-Amherst is very simple. It was founded as a niche school for young women to become school teachers- in a completely different historical time period. UMAss-Amherst has never really evolved into anything more, and remains one of the least reputable schools in the State. It's in a hicktown Amherst UMass-Amherst is nothing to be proud of and it will always be in the same league as Bridgewater, Westfield, UMass-Boston, and other lowly and relatively irrelevant schools. NO ONE outside the state has ever heard of it. Look, in this day and age, going to college is expected. That's why UMass-Amherst is still around, someone has to get the students nobody wants…It may seem harsh - but thats the way it is.
