Terrible experience. This college is like a large parochial high school. The dorms are dumps, the girls are trashy, the guys are completely obnoxious. Boring, no place to walk to,lame parties.A small guard shack at entrance in which security integrogates everybody. Your treated like your in 2nd grade and in need of constant baby sitting. Alot of the students come from small near by towns and enjoy being the big fishes in the little pond.the students at assco would be spit on and eaten alive if they went to a real college.Very insular, white ,middle class. About 3 activies offered during the year, all upper classman go home and by 4:00 pm on Friday, the campus is deserted and silent. you never see anyone having fun, playing frisbee etc. small cliques ,whisper amongst themselves, the girls dress in slutty lingerie and try to find parties…but the parties are broken up within the first hour by the over zealous campus police, who have nothing else to do in this suburban neighborhood.Academics are ok.Do your self a favor and go to another college, that offers clubs,a diversity of people, decent living conditions,a decent sports team,Assumption has none of these. The student body is totally pathetic, snobby, stupid and fake. What a waste of money.

questionOh my goodness! why does this seem to be some punk wanting a social experience vs an education? Isn't the whole purpose to any school is education? Does anyone care to give an F for education and explain why instead of describing your personal dislike about other students?
responseThe social experience is an integral part of college, and the reviewer is entitled to her opinion. I agree with most of her points, although I was happier than she was as most of my last two years were spent in grad school preparation mode.
questionWhat schools will accept your credits? Boston College? Boston University? Bentley University?
