I entered FAU as a transfer student from a State College. I was pretty self-sufficient at FAU. When I needed professors, they were there for me. When I needed advisement, I was taken care of in a reasonable amount of time. I only completed upper-division coursework at FAU but I honestly felt like the professors cared about their subjects and that they enforced accountability on the students. I really appreciated the smaller class size environment as well. I think a lot of these students come in and expect to be hand-fed everything and babied along the way. We are all adults here and what I think these people are failing to realize is that in the real world, you will have to learn and adapt to doing things on your own. It?s really easy to complain when you don?t get what you want.
