Major: Biology (This Major's Salary over time)
This college has a fantastic landscape and the people are all very nice. As a previous reviewer stated you are very mollycoddled and not the slightest prepared for the real world. The professors are helpful, nice and most really care about students god know they aren't paid well. I gave it three stars because of how money is spent. The professors are low paid but Converse get 78 millon in endowments and most students pay at least 10,000 a year to attend. They at least get 100 million dollars after everything. That money is going towards "expanding". And the employees including professors are seeing salary freezes or deductions. Besides the outragous cost it is a good school in regards to rigor and appeasing students (and their parents). Honestly, if I would have done it again I would have chosen a state school. I have to pay off 40,000 and I still can't get a job with my degree after looking for several years. The faculty have to be nice or they will be reprimanded. Several faculty have left because of how it is turning into a corporation. $40,000 a year with a Ph.D in a professorship position added with the cost of living rising. I would leave too. The admissions will lie. It is hard to get a job with most degrees from the school. And the individualized majors aren't recognized by employers. The professor of the biology department is a dear. I like her and many other professors. I just don't like the messed up system and the lies.
