I was a male in the Master's degree program in Library Science! I was one of three males to start the M.L.S. program and the only male to earn my M.L.S. degree!I was treated very well by the women at TWU after they found out that I was at TWU because of my interest in library science and not because I wanted to change the culture of the all-woman's college.I was a graduate research assistant and worked for the Dean of the School of Library and Information Science, Dr. Keith Swigger. Dr. Swigger treated me very well. The Director of Financial Aid gave me two scholarships after I wrote him a letter explaining my dire financial need. The scholarships enabled me to pay in-state tuition!I liked my dorm room, the beautiful campus library, and even the dormitory food! The faculty were friendly and helpful!
