Major: Biology (This Major's Salary over time)
I think the college experience in itself is what you make of it, on every campus people might wonder how did some of the people get in or why is this professor on tenure when they obviously do not care about teaching. With that said I would like to add that my experience at UNCG has been a positive one, but it may not be the same for other people. The school is a very diverse one and I believe that if someone spent the time getting involved they will find the right niche for them. Also I want to add that the reason why I said my coursework is challenging is because the major itself is challenging and straight to the point, I do not know how challenging the other majors are, but I have seen friends and acquaintances stay up for days, especially on hell week to prep for their assignments and exams, I think that the quality of education is acceptable maybe even superb, the school does offer help for students who needs it, I think the best thing about UNCG is recognizing potential, something that a lot of other schools dismiss in accordance with numbers on the initial application and of course college itself is a weeding out process based on one's own personal merits and determination to succeed. Some poeple come to college just looking for a party, but those poeple don't last very long, not even the first semester of their freshmen year, and others are very serious and the serious ones realize if a school is good for them or not. I'm a serious student and I think UNCG will help me succeed.
