The best part about sju is it's location. It's close enough to Center Center (a 10 minute train) but in a beautiful and historic neighborhood. The opportunity of going to a school like sju is it's ability to attract local business and industry to give students internships and jobs. About half of my friends have had or have jobs in the city, both during the summer and the school year. That opportunity isn't available to those who go to a school anywhere else. Academically, sju is fantastic. Faculty is always willing to help, and will do anything to help a student succeed or even find a job. Most of the negative comments on here I don't agree with. Most have to do with the wifi, which anyone who knows anything about wifi knows that it can't be reliable all the time, especially when it's network is spread over several square miles and is accessed by thousands. I also don't agree with the social comments. Sju can be a party school if you join the right fraternity or sports team. I am lucky to be both an athlete and a fraternity man, and the people who say parties here suck aren't going to the right ones. My advice is to get involved. The best friends you can make are the ones that are part of a club or organization.
