You either hate it or love it. I went to UNCG with the mindset that I wanted to leave after the first year. I continued to feel that way throughout the year. I gave UNCG a chance, I tried so hard for my view to be changed, I went to sporting events, went to the activities on campus even attempted to go to a few parties but it just did not cut it. UNCG is somewhat a "wanna-be" school. The people try so hard to do things to make it a top university but the students want no part of it. No one stays on campus ,the sporting teams are a joke, and the parties are terrible. Everyone is just trying to have a good time but no one is succeeding. After the first couple of months everyone finds their own little group and your outta luck if you don't find yours. However people often focus on the social life aspect that they don't appreciate the education aspect. While UNCG definitely has it flaws the overall education is good. Just work hard and you'll do well. It's no walk in the park but its definitely not pull out your hair and cry yourself to sleep hard
