Just spent four years here. The academics aren't bad, but it's true what they say about Brandeis, that there really isn't much else going on at the school. The students are friendly and pretty book smart but they don't really have a clue what they want to do with their lives, and they study study study because they don't really switch focus to something outside of their really specialized interests…lots of Aspergers syndrome tbh. But some people fit in here and do well, it's just not what most people want out of a college experience. If you're more of a socially typical person, either go Greek, or transfer because otherwise you'll definitely get bored of the monotony and burn out.
