like the school and the enviroment is beautiful, but now UCCS has placed a enphasis on being a writing intensive school. The teachers are never on the same page and student often suffer because they could potencially have 3 or four papers due within 2 day of each other as well as a test. Some teachers are amazing and willing to work with the student schedules but the UCCS administrators are my biggest issue. They are constantly trying to change their curriculum to be more "prestigious", which ends up just being busy work. On top of all the time and effort you put into your school work, you also need deep pockets to attend this school. Parking is a rip off and there is not enough of it as well as the cost of books which the library no longer rents or accepts back used books. Over all my issue is not with the environment or the professors, my issue is The Administrators and the higher ups who just don't care about your wallet or how student are being effected by work load. if you like lots of writing paying lots of money for a small party-less school… come to UCCS…..
