Alright, here's the scoop. I transferred to Coastal after doing a year of community college. I am originally from Myrtle Beach but went to high school and a year of school in New Jersey. Yes, a lot of people that go to Coastal are from New Jersey. Coastal USE to have an amazing party scene (2003-2006 era). The new school president completely wrecked Coastal's "party school" image which could be a good or bad thing. I attended CCU from the Fall of 2005 through Spring 2009 and graduated with my BS in management. It is extremely easy to just "get by" at CCU. I was quite active in various social circles and night life at ccu; sadly it dropped off significantly in 2007/2008. By my junior/senior year, I moved off campus and rarely attended to any "parties" near campus. The police and school politics wrecked the fun feeling. Broadway at the Beach is the only fun place to go and it gets old after the first 50 times you go there…seriously there is nothing else to do.
