semi-intelligent rich kidsAre the kids rich or just their parents? How do you know? As for the "semi-intelligent" comment, do you consider that to be "open-minded"? |
Major: English (This Major's Salary over time)
I came from a boarding school in Northern Virginia that had a lot of racial and cultural diversity. When I got to Wofford I was a bit shocked by how little there was of both. Overall the school was a rewarding experience, but it does have a lot of cookie-cutter people. It is a Mecca for the semi-intelligent rich kids who could not get into Duke, Wake Forest or Davidson. As a result, there are a lot of close-minded people. I managed to find a great niche and have fun, but it was a difficult thing to break into at first. If you go there, you need to throw yourself out there as an individual. You'll attract more of the same.
