Major: Business - Management and Administration (This Major's Salary over time)
Probably the worst state university in California. I graduated in 2006 with a degree in finance and foolishly stayed on for an MBA. What I discovered is that my junior college classes were better resourced and equipped and more challenging. What I also discovered is that all of the outstanding faculty the College of Business once had have left or are leaving and new faculty with heavy foreign accents and zero experience in any form of business has replaced them. Worse yet, these new faculty have no interest in the polytechnic mission but rather are heavily involved in their personal stuff rather than students. Nobody is around to help you here and when you find someone they usually blow you off. Other departments in business are even worse. My marketing professor admitted she knew NOTHING about the subject and just read slides all day long!!! Into workouts? Forget it. The gym is sixty years old with no air conditioning and almost no equipment. The swimming pool never is open, no longer functional. Other than a nice Japanese garden and a collection of horses there's not much to brag about Cal Poly Pomona.
