Liberty is a great environment with positive people. It is a Christian school and the environment is geared toward that central focus. Lynchburg is certainly beautiful. Great hiking and you are reasonably close to both the DC metro area and Virginia Beach. The student body is highly diverse, representing most states and many countries. The biggest downside to LU is their low academic entrance requirements. Such accessibility positively impacts the bottom line, but it dilutes the value of your degree. In addition, Liberty doesn't do a good job of assisting their students after graduation. Career services are sorely lacking. Finally, too many faculty had not completed their terminal degrees, nor were they encouraged to do so.
