Here's what I think about this University:

College is located in the middle of nowhere. The surrounding city is filled with old, run down houses.

Unless you live in Thompson Point or Schneider, the rest of the dorms pretty much suck.

Advisors are pretty much useless, since you can register for all of your classes online.

Roomates here are VERY hard to get along with. Some people here are very closeminded, loud, and arrogant.

Also, the people here can be racist because even though they're trying to promote "diversity", The whites hang out with other whites and blacks hang out with other blacks. Students here like to drink A LOT so if you don't like to drink and party they'll see you as an outcast.

The only good thing about this place is that it has good parties.

Bottom line: I'm glad that I've transferred out of here to be honest. It didn't offer me a great college experience and if I had the chance to go to another college in the firstplace, trust me, I would. If you can, try to get a single. It's so much better. U of I, UIC, or ISU are better options for an education. If you don't like to get wasted every weekend, and you're not a fan of a rural setting, then you will NOT have a good time here.
