Get yourself into a "name" college if at all possible. When applying to grad/prof school it is a huge chip. If you have a 3.2-3.6 at a name school, top law schools will entertain your application, if you went to podunk u. they will not. When you get to college have fun, but watch your grades closely. They are very important if you want to go onto law school. Also, if you have a high gpa from a name school and good lsat scores, lower ranked law schools will throw merit money your way. It's worth it to get into the best undergrad school you can, and once you are there keep your gpa above a 3.0
