Don't count on an adviser helping you. I contacted my adviser one time and she was arrogant and unhelpful. I haven't heard back from her. When I asked other students, who have been there a while, many had issues with getting any type of help and/or information from their advisers. When seeking help elsewhere, you will be directed back to your adviser!

When working in mandatory groups, some students are so snotty and arrogant that they refuse to have meetings at any time that would be convenient for anyone but themselves. There goes part of your grade for missing a lot of those mandatory group meetings! They don't even care if the times they pick are when you have another class. They are that selfish!
