NAU really can't be described in a couple hundred words but in short. This school is great for anybody who wants to come up here to have fun, meet new people and have a friendly surrounding. Everywhere you go around campus there will be people waving and saying hi and greeting you whether its student or faculty. It truly is one of most friendliest schools. The social life here is great - If you like to stay in on the weekends and watch a movie with some friends there will be a definite opportunity to do that or go to parties you will also have many chances to do that. The academics are really underrated compared to other instate schools because of the mass advertisement that ASU and UofA does, but the one clear advantage that NAU topples the competitors is that the prof-student ratio. You will know your prof and it will help you so much in the short/long term whether if you need help on your homework, refs to a job, scholarships or internship opportunities it will be easy because almost all profs on campus are friendly and very approachable. You aren't just another number, you actually build relationships with the teacher which is better than what people perceive the college teacher student relationship is. NAU is a hidden gem once again and if you do get the opportunity to come here, i HIGHLY recommend you take a campus tour to find out for yourself. The cons of flagstaff is simply the snow, if you can deal with the snow (which isn't all too bad and you do get used to it) NAU will be the best place ever. It some times gets in the way of what your doing but for the most part its defiantly an experience that will last.

Once again go on a campus tour to really discover NAU, and see if it is the right place for you!!
