This is my first year and ive hadAverageEducation
This is my first year and ive had an ok semester so far i had requested my roommate and i suggest whatever you do DONOT request your roommate even if you guys are best friends. i made the mistake of requesting my friend and it was hell. as for everthing else, alot of people go home on the weekends so its a bit lonely when your friends arent there. the food is ok ive gotten sick of the food very quckly. the food places on the acedemic side of campus closes early during the week and isnt open on the weekend which makes it very difficult to find food to eat.

Question
I'm so iffy about this school.BrightMusic - Performance
I'm so iffy about this school. I am in the Hartt school, so my perspective is different. The Hartt school is like its own little system that works very well and will probably produce amazing musicians. It acts very separately from the rest of the university at times which is something I am glad for.

The academic classes I do have to take are a joke. If you enjoy coasting through school, this is for you. Most people are really nice, despite the fact that the people I live with are all uptight bitches. I managed to find groups of friends that make me happy while im here. The city is horrible, as the university is placed right in the end of a total Sketchville. However, the location makes you realise how much racism fucks up society, as on one end of the street there is poverty and on the other there are huge fucking mansions....

There are lots of things that are broken and need fixing, like the lock to the complex I live in for example....the university tends to spend money on things that will bring in more students like sports fields and what not. The food literaly makes me vomiting sick so I suggest finding a way to eat otherwise. Also, although the tuition is pretty high, if you have two brain cells they will give you a huge financial aid package/ scholarships. I have 30,000 $ of scholarship money each year so money isn't the problem at all. It is worth it just because the music school is so fucking awesome.

Question
I went to theNot so brightPreMed and Medical
I went to the freshman success center for counseling, and the counselor had a PHd and did not help me at all. Basically just nodded the whole time. Then wouldnt talk to my parents even though I gave permission. I needed adult guidance, but they suck at that.
