If you want the "college feel" don't comeQuite BrightUndecided
If you want the "college feel" don't come here. I feel like I'm at a big high school. The people are mostly unfriendly, all of my professors so far have been self-absorbed, arrogant and condescending. They are not helpful at all. So far it has been beyond easy. I am such a sociable person but haven't made one friend. Even my roommates keep to themselves. I am so disappointed I cam here and am leaving ASAP. Seriously, don't come here. Oh and the weather sucks but they will never cancel classes/shut down the university. Be prepared to freeze.

Question
I am from southern Minnesota, southeastern to beAverageEnglish
I am from southern Minnesota, southeastern to be exact. People didn't even know my city and I was 80 miles away! All people at MSU are terrible, I have been there since 2006, and have not made a single friend. I am a transfer student, my community college professors were outstanding. If I could have, I would have stayed at my college if they offered my degree. My professors were unhelpful, and even gave me bad advice and had to take classes that were not necessary. I am so glad to be out of that campus now, just two online classes left and I will graduate. My husband and I are not typical hick Minnesotans, and my husband is multicultural and gets stares all the time. I get stares for being petite. I'm an ADULT people, get over it! I had to hang out with my old high school friend who was getting her master's, and of course that was surrounded by alcohol. I don't drink much, I tend to go to concerts, outdoor activities, and spending time with different kinds of people. I am getting out of this hole state ASAP. Ever since 2006 my husband and I have been crapped on, and I'm FROM HERE! All of the open-minded, decent, non-racist, non-elitist people have left.
