i just got accepted and i am so excited to be coming here. the only thing i am worried about is doing things outside the collge. like going to the city(manhattan) going to church in the bronx and just having oppurtunies there. hopefully this college does not hold me back from all these things. i know it small and i know what im getting myself into so i think i need a car for this college!!! :)

Quite Bright
I used to be an Education Major but I found the Department to be extremely unwelcoming and not helpful at all. I changed my major to Psychology which was better but still professors were arrogant and too "busy" to meet. The students are way too cliquey. Ultimately, I've decided to transfer. If all you want out of college is to party or be bored cause there is nothing to do...this is the school for you.

Not so bright
Bonaventure is not a bad school, It is what it is. College is what you make of it. The faculty and people are nice. The school is in bubble fuck of nowhere, so if you're from a big city this is going to be a HUGE culture shock. The faculty is always ready and available to help. people know you on first and last name basis, so thats pretty cool. Now the nightlife here use to be pretty decent, 3-4 parties a nights, kegs and all that crazy shit. But last year some kid died of an overdose im guessing, so the cops have started to be really strict on the whole house party thing. So if you're a freshman and are thinking of coming here definitely get a fake ID to get into the bars, if you dont your nights will be ending early. However if you're thinking of going greek do not come here because there is no such thing as greek life. The basketball games are fun, and school pride is crazy. Goodluck in applying, and GO BONAS!
