I love it here and honestly made the best decision for me. It's a great atmosphere for working and enjoying yourself as well. It never seems boring as long as you make the choice to be active. It's a great place to be and to learn because you can make friends easily and the housing is great because the rooms aren't small!! Many think its cold here, but it honestly isn't that much worse than anywhere else in the winter. I love it here!

“Like anywhere else you go for school, theBright
Like anywhere else you go for school, the college experience is what you make of it. If you're going to be quiet and stay home every night and not make friends, then you'll hate it here just like you would hate it anywhere else. Binghamton might not be the prettiest campus or city, but some great people go here and the education really is high quality. Yes there are alot of people from Long Island, and yes they can be overwhelming to people from the rest of the state, but that doesn't mean this isn't a good university to go to. For the most part, the people who come here and great people who get their work done and then have a good time on the weekend. Every place has it's pros and cons, and here they relatively even themselves out.

I had very much the "welcoming" feeling when I came to Binghamton. I felt very comfortable here, and could picture myself here for the next 4 years of my life.
