I had an excellent experience at Penn State. As a student-athlete, I was treated very well. Since I've been out in the workforce I have grown to appreciate the academic expectations that were placed on me.

My department sucked. Professors couldn't teach, TA's couldn't speak English. Also, don't come here if you don't drink.

Penn State is a great school for soQuite BrightBusiness - Management and Administration
Penn State is a great school for so many reasons! School spirit is everywhere and it is pretty rare to find someone that doesn't love it here. Its size can be intimidating at first but once you find your niche, it's easy to make friends and have a good time. The difficulty of classes is seems to be pretty dependent on your major. I can't imagine much of a better social life either. If you can't find a fun party you're probably doing something wrong. The frat/sorority scene is very big on campus as well, but you definitely don't have to be involved with it to fit in. If you're not a big drinker you may have more of a difficult time socially, but there are other options out there. If you're considering PSU the best thing to do is come visit and see for yourself what makes it so special. You'll fall in love with it!
