I like it here.Quite BrightBiology
I like it here. Then again, I'm socially awkward and don't get out much, so for all I know this place sucks.Professors are nice. A few I wanted to kick in the shins and scream at, but they didn't spoil things too badly. At least they didn't ruin my life completely. Oh, and the people are interesting too. Some of them wear funny clothes or speak different languages. How cute.

Question
Hi truth be told Temple is a greatBrightBiology
Hi truth be told Temple is a great school if you are a business major. As for science its no ware near temple business. So basically if you want to be a biologist dont come here its a waste....People are also very segregate here for lunch when you go to anderson strip (u will know what that is) whits sit with whites blacks with black Asians with Asians Indians with Indians there are NO MIXTURES. Its sad and about the teachers some are AWESOME but some cant even say the subject they are teaching....to sum it up good school with bad things such as dont step out side of the campus unless you like getting rapped or mugged.

Question
Temple University is a huge school, and possessAverageBiology
Temple University is a huge school, and possess the same characteristics of a big school. As a student, you feel like a number. Introductory classes are huge, sometimes 100 to 200 students per class.Science classes are incredibly difficult, not impossible, but lets just say its difficult for a typical student to get an A. Alot of professors can't speak english, which makes the process of learning difficult since you can't understand what they are saying. Accademicly, the science program at Temple is very challenging.

The food at the SAC and at the Cafateria, for the most part is okay. Some days the cafeteria serves great meals, other days it sucks. So its on and off there. The SAC gets old very quick. Its the same food all the time and theres not alot to choose from. The quality of food at Temple could deffinitely be better.

In terms of atmosphere, Temple is not the best place to be. Temple is not located in the city, its located a mile from center city, in North Philly. There are alot of bums that will ask you for money around campus, and being approached by a "local" is not fun. People get shot a few blocks from our campus and it ends up on the news, since we are in the center of North Philly. On campus it's, for the most part, safe and the campus is beautiful. Temple Police does a decent job protecting students and there is bright lighting. Off campus its very Dangerous and you beter not walk alone! The party scene at Temple is boring. It usually consist of small personal parties, house parties, and alot of frat parties. However, it gets old quickly and all the parties are the same. Be careful at frat parties because they like to "ruthie"(date rape drug) people's drinks. The city of Philadelphia is fun at night, IF you are 21!! Don't expect to get into any bars or clubs in center city with a fake id. Overall the actual campus is nice but the surrounding area sucks. Also the nightlife at Temple gets old after a while.
