I cannot believe some of the comments written by so called "Temple students"...Temple is the greatest school in the world, trust me. I had my choice between several amazing universities including Virginia Tech and I will never regret my decision of choosing Temple. The school spirit here is CONTAGIOUS and we play in one of the best stadiums in the U.S. Our parties are amazing and the cops are only there to protect you..Every night there is something to do whether parties or on campus events. I am so sick of hearing bad stuff about the surrounding campus, guess what?!? I have never felt safer and I am a white kid from a small town. We have the third largest police force in PA so we have security covered. Even when you leave campus to go to parties cops are patrolling not ticketing the drunk kids but waiting around to stop the fights. Girls drink for free and guys are usually $3. The frats are real here not some lame ass wanna be things and they are almost always partying (thursday is the best!!!!). The food here is good and I come from a foodie home...You have several options under your meal plan so he can eat at a car or little food shops specializing in different foods. Now to the not so fun stuff academics. Temple is very strong in health professions, accounting, and communication...The professors really know what they are talking about and give you a great education.

Great inner city atmosphere, close to downtown and south street. Campus life has improved 100% in the last 10 years. Lots of options for fun on and off campus. Despite the appearance of the surrounding community the campus is probably the safest area in the city due to having three different police forces (Philly, Transit, and University) patroll the campus in addition to dozens of security guards. The Univeristy offers plenty of options for recreation and employment on campus. Outside of Philly the degree is very well respected and I have never spoken to a graduate of the Fox School of Business that is not doing well for himself/herself. Those who want to major in Criminal Justice or any of the liberal arts beware...if you are not a bleeding heart liberal your views and opinions are not welcome and will be immediately dismissed as "closed-minded."

The four years I spent at Temple were the best of my life. I enjoyed nearly everything about the university as well as the city of Philadelphia. While some may have concerns about the surrounding area, my advice is that as long as your are smart about your decisions, you will be perfectly fine. The basketball games are a lot of fun and football is on the rise.I graduated in a terrible economy and had a great job with a Fortune 10 company lined up so I was able to relax Senior Year. The Business School really polishes you.
